Have you ever sat under a tree to read a book, find shade from the hot sun, or just to enjoy a picnic with your family? Trees are interwoven with every aspect of our lives and do so much for our environment. They are silently and diligently working to conserve our water, reduce the stormwater runoff (also known as flash flooding), reduce the energy demand for cooling our homes and offices, and improve the quality of the air we breathe. Yet, every year our tree canopy diminishes. Alamo Forest Partnership (AFP) is a partnership with a vision to reverse this trend in order to establish and maintain a healthy forest ecosystem in a community cognizant of trees. We are reaching out to organizations to help us achieve our mission by requesting a donation in any of the various sponsorship levels. By providing a tax-deductible cash donation, we will provide education on how to plant and care for trees, educational materials, volunteer, and educational event opportunities for your employees.
