Announcing ... Trees for Free!  Volunteers Wanted

There are several events coming up where free trees will be distributed to help increase our canopy and improve the health of our area.  Please contact Michael Nentwich, San Antonio City Forester, if you are interested in volunteering at any of the events listed below. He will give out more details for each event to interested volunteers.  Please help us spread the word to volunteers and the greater community who simply want trees.  Improving our urban forest is a community effort.

  • April 17: 10 am - 4 pm at Woodlawn Park - 2,000 x 1-gallon trees
(CPS Energy is providing these trees)

  • May 1: 10 am - 2 pm at Camargo Park - 150 x 5-gallon trees

  • May 15 and 16: Hardberger Park Grand Opening - 1,000 x 5-gallon trees (varying locations, times)

  • May 22: 10 am - 2 pm at S.S. Lions Park - 150 x 5-gallon trees
